Peter Mead is an artist and writer exploring the strange realms of altered states, meditative insight, and being human. He lives in Cornwall, working from a tiny converted shed behind his family yurt where he draws and writes.

Most of his psychedelic journeys take place on long journeys around the woodland lanes, old mining grounds, forests and footpaths of Cornwall.

Peter studies aspects of the Buddhist meditative path, focusing his efforts on concentration practices & insight.

The Strange Realms studio was created at the end of 2025 with the launch of Where Magic Grows.
